Corporate Social Responsibility

 

TCI-CONCOR Multimodal Solutions Private Limited (TCI-CONCOR) as a corporate entity, committed towards sustainability and moves ahead in an organized manner through its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy . The Board of Directors of the Company formulates and recommends to the Board, an annual action plan in pursuance of company’s CSR policy. The word CSR here means the activities undertaken by TCI-CONCOR in pursuance of its statutory obligation laid down in section 135 of the Act in accordance with the provisions contained in these rules.

TCI-CONCOR Board ensures that the CSR activities are undertaken by the company through its social organization, TCI Foundation, an entity registered under Indian Trust Act, 1882 and recognized by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for undertaking CSR activities, vide registration number CSR00000298. TCI Foundation has track record of CSR projects implementation since 1995. The organization is also partner of the Government of India, State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, and International organizations in the execution of National projects in India.

SHORYA :

TCI-CONCOR aims to encourage sports in the country and the opportunities to harness the power of sports through its cross cutting influence, namely holistic development of children and youth community. The Company contributes its CSR in nationally recognized Olympic sports promotion in India by investing in TCI Foundation managed Urmila Sports Academy. The academy has been established in a village Nyangal Bari, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Churu in Rajasthan to infuse sports culture and achieve sporting excellence.

The Urmila Sports Academy houses modern, centrally air-conditioned international standard training facilities for both budding and elite athletes of the country. The academy is equipped with trained qualified coaches; and provides all amenities in the campus including men & women hostels and staff housing.

The academy is duly affiliated with the Rajasthan State Government, Khelo India, Sports Authority of India Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to impart training to budding and leading athletes in the sports of wrestling, weightlifting and boxing. In the previous years the academy has produced best talented female weightlifters, represented India and won medals in Asian Youth Weightlifting Championship 2020 held in Uzbekistan.
